The Story Behind The Nomad Build
I grew up poor in the ghettos of Tampa, where every day felt uncertain.
We moved often, sometimes staying in motels, sometimes with no power or water. From a young age I learned that if I wanted something, I had to create it myself. I mowed lawns, sold limbers, and took whatever odd jobs I could find just to help keep things going.
It wasn’t an easy childhood. There was tension, noise, and more responsibility than any kid should carry, but it forced me to become independent early. I realized no one was coming to save me — and that became the fuel that shaped the rest of my life.
By sixteen I’d finished high school ahead of schedule. At eighteen I was completely on my own, determined to build a different life. I didn’t have money or guidance, but I had grit and a belief that I could build stability out of chaos.
Over the years I built businesses, failed, started over, and kept rebuilding. What began as survival turned into a drive to create freedom — the kind that comes from discipline, focus, and learning to stand on your own.
The Nomad Build grew out of that journey.
It’s about building freedom from the ground up — financially, mentally, and spiritually — even when you start with nothing. It’s about proving that the hardest beginnings can create the strongest foundations.
Where I come from doesn’t define me. What I’ve built from it does.
“You can’t choose where you start, but you can choose what you build next.”
